I was just wondering if Baan has a facility to flag when a particular customer is due for a rebate either on units purchased or revenue? We have some customers who receive quarterly rebates and some annual but both methods are driven by dates. Therefore I was wondering if Baan can either produce the figures automatically or flag the fact that the figures need to be prepared?

There ist a whole module in Distribution for doing this: tdcms, called "Commissions and rebates"

I think that you will need to code your relations so they can be easily grouped into quaterly and yearly payment cycles. Since the relation code is 8 chars, it is easy to use a 2 chars prefix for the payment cycle + the customer code. When calculating the rebates, it will be easy for you to consider each group separately.
