Hi

Need some advice. Using session tdilc1512m000 for a particular item , the stock on hand shows 140.0002 BUT when I check the session tdilc1518s000 it shows140.0000

I believe when allocation is to be done BAAN would refer to the second figure right and it will not allow . Why is there a difference?
I did run session tdinv0250m000 in the hope it could correct any calculation errors but to no avail.

This problem may be due to the figures in item master, item inventory and location control inventory tables getting out of sync.

For instance the stock figure displayed on the tdilc1512m000 screen is actually from the item master (tiitm001) wheras the figures displayed on the tdilc1218s000 screen are from the location control inventory table (tdilc101)

Do you routinely run the supplied correction programs ? (weekly / monthly)

The programs I had in mind are "Rebuild Inventory Data (ILC) tdilc0250m000" , "Rebuild Planned Stock Transactions tdinv0250m000", "Rebuild Allocation to Picking List tdinv0251m000" and "Check Stock Data tdinv0252m000"

We find that it is worthwile running these every month or so in the back hours to keep the tables in-sync. Refer to online help for details.
