I have defined the sales price for an item in "Prices by Item" session. In the sales parameters, I have given margin Control implemented and "Target price for Margin Control - Acc to Price structure".

When I make a Sales order the transaction is getting logged in the margin control session but the target price is not getting picked up from the price structure even though the start date etc has been set up perfectly.
Even while making the sales line, the price gets picked up from the price structure perfectly. I change this manually while making line.

The problem is the target price is getting updated with the price I am manually entering in the sales line. How is this possible?

Have i missed out on some initial settings?
